Youssef Al-Azma...an immortal symbol in the national memory
On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Youssef Al-Azma, the Ministry of Culture recalls the biography of one of the most prominent symbols of Syrian national history, whose name is associated with the Battle of Maysalun. He chose to advance the ranks in defense of his homeland, believing that dignity is preserved by courageous stances and great sacrifices. His biography remained present in the Syrian conscience, with the values of loyalty, courage and responsibility it embodied, to remain a shining page in the modern history of Syria and a national legacy from which generations will draw inspiration for the meanings of pride and belonging.
