The Ministry of Culture participates in the International Conference for the Reconstruction of the Cultural Sector in Palestine in Madrid
The Ministry of Culture, represented by the Assistant Minister of Culture, Mr. Ahmed Sawaf, participated in the International Conference for the Reconstruction of the Cultural Sector in Palestine, which was hosted by the Spanish capital, Madrid, on July 15 and 16.
The participation came in an international conference that witnessed the presence of 30 international delegations, along with regional and international organizations, with the aim of coordinating efforts Aiming to protect the Palestinian cultural heritage, preserve its cultural heritage, rehabilitate cultural institutions and infrastructure, and enhance international cooperation in efforts to rebuild the cultural sector.
The Ministry’s participation comes within the framework of supporting international cultural initiatives and enhancing joint cooperation in the field of protecting cultural heritage, out of belief in the pivotal role of culture in preserving identity, consolidating resilience, and supporting paths of recovery and rebuilding.
