The Damascus International Fair has a clear presence of art in its cultural history, from its first sessions until today. Culture appeared in the design of the pavilions, publications, murals, and sculptures, forming an integral part of the exhibition’s identity and visual image.

Their works remained a witness to the memory of the exhibition, and to the relationship of culture with place, audience and time.
We return to those beginnings, and read how art entered the formation of the Damascus International Fair, and how culture became at the heart of the story.
