Official visits to the Ministry of Culture’s pavilion at the Amman International Book Fair
The Deputy Minister of Culture, Mr. Saad Naasan, received in the Ministry’s pavilion at the Amman International Book Fair, in which Syria is the guest of honor for its 25th session, the Palestinian Minister of Culture, Dr. Imad al-Din Hamdan, the Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Culture, Dr. Nidal al-Ahmad al-Ayasrah, and the President of the Jordanian Publishers Union and the Director of the Exhibition, Jabr Abu Fares. The delegation was briefed on the components of the pavilion that embody the diversity of Syrian cultural heritage, from the arts, Arabic calligraphy, crafts, and traditional professions, to the nine elements listed on UNESCO’s lists of world cultural heritage, in addition to live experiences, works of art, and Syrian architectural details that highlight the richness of the cultural and artistic heritage. The delegation expressed its admiration for the artistic and heritage models that the pavilion presents that reflect the diversity of Syrian culture. And its richness.
