We were, are, and will remain committed to a unifying Syrian national discourse, rejecting hatred, discrimination, and all the remnants of the former regime, including its bigotry, racism, and sectarianism. During a previous visit to the city of Afrin in the Aleppo countryside, Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin al-Saleh emphasized that the Arab and Kurdish peoples form a historical unity, sharing a common culture and heritage, and bound together by a unified national framework.
