Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin Al-Saleh received the Chargé d'Affaires of the French Embassy in Damascus, Jean-Baptiste Faivre, where they discussed ways to strengthen existing cultural cooperation between the two countries. The meeting addressed expanding areas of joint work with the ALIPH Foundation and the Directorate General of Antiquities and Museums, in addition to discussing the reactivation of the French Cultural Center in Damascus. The two sides also discussed enhancing cooperation in the fields of cinema and theater, as well as cooperation in the field of heritage through the National Heritage Institute in France, which would contribute to opening new horizons for joint work, supporting cultural initiatives, and strengthening the exchange of expertise between the two sides.
