
Ahmad Barqawi, a Palestinian philosopher, university professor, thinker, critic, writer, researcher, and poet, was born in the Syrian town of Al-Hamah to a family from the Palestinian city of Tulkarm. He served for many years as head of the Philosophy Department at Damascus University and also taught and lectured at several Syrian and Arab universities. He participated in dozens of philosophical conferences and seminars and has published articles and studies in numerous Arab newspapers and magazines.
