During his visit to Latakia Governorate, Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin Al-Saleh met with Governor Mohammed Othman to discuss the current state of the cultural sector in the governorate and ways to develop it. The meeting addressed means of supporting cultural activities and programs, reviewed the most significant challenges facing the sector, and explored opportunities to revitalize cultural activity. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Culture and Latakia Governorate to contribute to developing the cultural landscape and enhancing its presence in the governorate.
