
The International Children's Festival kicked off in the Turkish capital, Ankara, with wide international participation from 65 countries, including the Syrian Arab Republic, represented by the Ministry of Culture – Directorate of Children's Culture. The festival aims to introduce the cultures of different peoples and promote communication among children from around the world. It features pavilions showcasing the heritage, customs, and traditions of each participating country. The Syrian delegation comprises 14 children and 7 administrators, who are presenting a unique image of Syrian heritage through a variety of performances and activities. The festival runs until April 24th and includes artistic performances, workshops, cultural competitions, and field trips, all designed to foster cultural exchange and reinforce the values of diversity and coexistence.
