The Minister of Culture Muhammad Yassin Al-Saleh received the writer and lecturer Dr. Khaled Al-Ghattas, and discussed with him a number of topics related to cultural affairs, praising his programs aimed at promoting awareness and values.
The Minister stressed the importance of introducing the cultural diversity that abounds. It includes the Syrian governorates, including their dialects, customs and traditions, and consolidating the culture of pride in this diversity, in a way that strengthens the bonds of harmony and unity among the members of Syrian society.
Dr. Khaled Al-Ghattas also called for organizing a series of lectures in a number of Syrian governorates, with the aim of introducing the cultural richness of the governorates.
