“The Levantine Dialect...its Roots and Characteristics” in a cultural lecture at the Syrian National Library in Damascus
The Ministry of Culture organized a lecture entitled “The Levantine Dialect...its Roots and Characteristics”, presented by the journalist and researcher in linguistics and language history, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Zebaq, in the presence of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdul Salam Heikal, at the Syrian National Library. In Damascus.
The lecture dealt with the roots of the Levantine dialect and its linguistic characteristics, in the context of highlighting the linguistic and cultural diversity in society.
