First Lady Latifa Al-Droubi responded to the Ministry of Culture’s invitation to the Women’s Poets’ Evening, which was held at the National Library in Damascus in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Muhammad Yassin Al-Saleh.
The evening was attended by an elite group of Syrian poets: Ibtisam Al-Sammadi, Basma Sheikho, Khuzama Al-Shalabi, Alaa Mustafa Ali, and Safiya Al-Daghim, in a poetry meeting that celebrates the homeland and conscience, and highlights the contributions of Syrian women to Cultural landscape.
