The Ministry of Culture honors its volunteer team in appreciation for its contribution to community service

The Minister of Culture, Muhammad Yassin Al-Saleh, honored the members of the Ministry of Culture’s volunteer team, in appreciation for their efforts and initiatives in community service, during a cultural event held at the National Library in Damascus.

The attendees reviewed the team’s most prominent achievements, most notably the cultural bus project and the “Cleanliness is Culture” campaign, in addition to inspiring experiences presented by a number of volunteers, It reflected the impact of volunteer work in developing skills and enhancing social responsibility.

The Minister of Culture stressed that young people constitute a fundamental pillar in building the cultural scene, with the initiatives and ideas they present that enhance the values of freedom, responsibility, and joint work, indicating that the Ministry views volunteers as true partners in the construction process, calling for employing culture as an effective societal force to spread awareness, confront hate speech and misleading information, and consolidate the values of responsibility and citizenship.
