As part of the Ministry of Culture’s efforts to preserve and revive Syrian cultural heritage, a meeting was held this morning at the Ministry’s headquarters with the Italian organization COSV to discuss areas of cooperation between the two parties.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Culture Mohammad Yassin Al-Saleh, Italian Ambassador to Damascus Stefano Ravagnan, and COSV President Paolo Comoglio, along with several representatives from government institutions, local community organizations, and heritage stakeholders.
The participants discussed proposals for preserving Syrian cultural heritage and activating it as a development resource, enhancing its presence in public life and supporting sustainable cultural and economic development in the new Syria.
This meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to expand partnerships and benefit from international expertise.
