Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, and in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Culture, Muhammad Yassin Al-Saleh, and His Excellency the Qatari Ambassador to Syria, Khalifa bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud Al-Sharif, the Damascus Theater Troupe presented the theatrical performance “Rehearsal for the Day of Judgment” on the stage of the Al-Hamra Theater in Damascus, in cooperation with the Directorate of Theaters and Music and the Damascus Foundation for Culture and Thought. Arts and development, within the framework of strengthening the presence of theater in the Syrian cultural scene, and allowing theatrical works and Syrian artists to present artistic visions that address contemporary humanitarian and social issues.
The play, whose events revolve around transitional justice, is written by Fares Al-Dhahabi, starring the stars Yara Sabry, Robin Issa, and Jaber Joukhadar, and directed by Maher Salibi.
The show will continue in Damascus until June 30 of this month. Before moving to Aleppo early next July.
