The Governor of Istanbul visits the pavilion of the Syrian Ministry of Culture at the Istanbul International Arabic Book Fair
The Governor of Istanbul, Mr. Dawud Gul, made a visit to the pavilion of the Syrian Ministry of Culture as part of the activities of the Istanbul International Arab Book Fair in its eleventh session, and he was received by the Assistant Minister of Culture, Mr. Saad Naasan.
During his tour of the pavilion, the Governor viewed a group of Syrian publications, in addition to materials introducing heritage. Syrian cultural and Syrian elements included on UNESCO lists.
The Ministry’s participation in the exhibition confirms the presence of Syrian books and culture in Arab and international forums, and its keenness to deliver Syrian cultural production to readers and those interested, and to open new spaces for cultural exchange and communication.
