The Ministers of Culture, Tourism, and Endowments and the Governor of Damascus inspect the progress of the restoration work at the Sulaymaniyah Hospice
The Minister of Culture, Muhammad Yassin Al-Saleh, the Minister of Tourism, Mazen Al-Salhani, the Minister of Endowments, Muhammad Abu Al-Khair Shukri, and the Governor of Damascus, Maher Marwan Idlibi, conducted a joint inspection tour to review the progress of the restoration work at the Sulaymaniyah Hospice in Damascus, and to determine the rates of completion and the quality of the work carried out.
During the tour, the ministers and the Governor of Damascus listened to a detailed explanation about the stages of implementing the restoration project, and the technical procedures followed to preserve the architectural and historical character of the site, in addition to the efforts made to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the approved standards.
They stressed the importance of completing the restoration work according to the highest technical standards, in a way that contributes to preserving this cultural heritage, one of the most prominent heritage, religious and tourist attractions in Damascus.
