Reopening of the Sulaymaniyah Tekkiye Mosque in Damascus Following the Completion of Restoration and Rehabilitation Works
In the presence of Minister of Culture Mohammed Yassin Al-Saleh, Minister of Tourism Mazen Al-Salehani, Minister of Finance Mohammed Yusr Barnieh, Damascus Governor Maher Marwan Idlibi, and several members of the Supreme Fatwa Council, Minister of Awqaf Mohammed Abu Al-Khair Shukri inaugurated the Sulaymaniyah Tekkiye Mosque in Damascus, following 15 years of closure.
The reopening comes after the completion of restoration and rehabilitation works, as part of ongoing efforts to preserve religious and heritage landmarks and revive the historic legacy of the city of Damascus.
